Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 31, 2026  ·  App: Marienbad  ·  Publisher: Enigfy

1. Introduction

Marienbad ("the App") is a strategy game developed and published by Enigfy ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

We take your privacy seriously. Marienbad is designed to work entirely on your device — it does not collect personal data or send any information to external servers.

2. Who We Are

3. What Data the App Collects

Marienbad does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

3.1 Data stored locally on your device

The following information is saved on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage. It is never transmitted to us or any third party:

This data is automatically included in your iOS device backups (iCloud or local) under Apple's standard backup policies, which you control in your iOS Settings.

3.2 Data we do not collect

Marienbad does not collect or process any of the following:

4. In-App Purchases (Pro Upgrade)

Marienbad offers a one-time optional Pro upgrade via Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Enigfy does not receive, process, or store any payment card details or billing information.

When you complete a purchase or restore a previous one, Apple passes a verified transaction receipt to the App. The App reads this receipt solely to confirm whether the Pro unlock is active, and stores only a simple "unlocked: yes/no" flag on your device. No transaction identifiers or Apple ID information are retained by the App.

For information on how Apple handles payment data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Marienbad does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social networking SDKs. No data is shared with or transmitted to any third party by the App.

The only third-party framework used is Apple's StoreKit, which is provided by Apple as part of iOS and governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

6. Data Collected by the App Store

When you download, install, or make a purchase within Marienbad, Apple may collect certain information as part of operating the App Store (for example, purchase history associated with your Apple ID, or crash logs submitted via Apple's opt-in diagnostics programme). This data is collected and controlled by Apple, not by Enigfy. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

7. Children's Privacy

Marienbad does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no personal data at all, it is suitable for all ages. Parental controls and family-sharing settings are managed through Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing features in iOS Settings.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All data stored by the App lives exclusively on your device and is entirely under your control. You can delete all App data at any time by:

Because we do not hold any data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end upon request.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Because Marienbad does not collect personal data, most data-subject rights (access, correction, portability, erasure) are satisfied automatically — the data that exists lives on your device and you control it entirely.

If you have any questions or concerns about privacy, please contact us at info@enigfy.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. International Users

Marienbad is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. Because no personal data is transmitted to us or stored on our servers, there is no cross-border data transfer from your device to Enigfy.

Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions with data protection legislation are covered by this policy. Our legal basis for any local on-device processing is the performance of the contract between you and Enigfy (i.e., providing the App you downloaded).

11. Apple Privacy Manifest

In compliance with Apple's Privacy Manifest requirements (effective Spring 2024), Marienbad includes a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file that declares the App's use of Apple's UserDefaults API (category NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults, reason CA92.1). No data types are declared as collected because no personal data is collected.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
